I have been a freelance translator working mostly with academic/scientific articles since 2000. Recently I have turned to literary translation, my prime interest and the subject of my ongoing Ph.D. research at UFMG, Brazil. It's what this page is all about. As a literary translator, I'm interested in historical fiction, crime/mystery, spirituality, experimental literature, women’s fiction and short stories, as well as some non-fiction.  I'm looking to team up with English-language writers to translate, publish and distribute their work in Brazil.
